SUBJECT OF THE CIRCULAR
Clarification on holding of AGM through video conferencing or other audio visual means
- For companies which are required to provide the facility of e-voting under the Act, or any other company which has opted for such facility.
- For companies which are not required to provide the facility of e-voting under the Act.
(i) Requirement of voting by show of hands
(ii) Passing of certain items only through postal ballot without convening a general meeting
FURTHER EXTENSIONS
The companies are ought to file Form GNL-1 for seeking extension of time in holding of AGM for the FY 31st March, 2020 with the concerned ROC on or before 29th September 2020.
(17th August, 2020)
To conduct AGM on or before 30th June, 2022.
(8th December, 2021)
Further Extension- 31st December, 2022
(05th May, 2022)
